Guide your ship into orbit!

X to gain momentum, Z to lose momentum.  Staying in the target orbit for 300 frames to get points.  Larger orbits grant more points.  Complete 5 orbits to win.

HINTS: Achieving a stable orbit is hard!  Apply momentum (x) at the height of an orbit or decreasing momentum (z) when the orbiter is nearest to the planet will help manage orbital eccentricity. Try using a light touch when applying forces.

This is a lot of fun! I won with a score of 1280 (at least, I think that's score?)!

Took me more than a couple tries to figure out, you REALLY meant the using a light touch part haha

Houston, we've had a problem!

Nice game! I could get into stable orbit three times in a row. Whenever I try to force a sharp change in orbit I end up going offscreen with no chance of recovering.

This is really neat. Make the player green and it could be a Kerbal demake.

Pressing either key tended to make me fly off into space, I think the circular orbit projection makes it hard for me to judge the real orbit.

Thanks for playing! The circular orbit indicator thing is terrible and will be replaced in the post-jam version.  Post-jam version will also fix the controls to be more intuitive linear thrusting as opposed to doing (char saving) vector multiplication.

Wow this is a tricky little gem! I really like the solid presentation and satisfying controls; feels really good when accruing 'stable orbit time'. Nice!
